My album is called Abundance

I know people don’t have time for full length albums anymore. Attention spans are shot. Everyone’s chasing the algorithm with singles. Stream counts over statements. I get it.

But this one matters to me.

It’s a body of work I’ve been compiling over the last couple of years in Portugal. A Drum and Bass album that explores every corner of the genre: deep techy rollers, hands in the air euphoric dancefloor, and some downright nasty tech bordering on neurofunk. I want to take people on a journey like I do when I’m playing a DJ set.

There’s also a liquid tune on there called Revelations I started in 2021. I’m on version 130 (I’d written the tune years ago I just couldn’t get the drums right until now!) *

The album is called Abundance. The name came to me years ago when I lived in Australia, where life felt abundant. To me, abundance is a state of mind we can all tap into, and being in nature is what gets me there.

The other thing that helps is Chase, my cat and number one ghost producer. I look at him and realise that like him, everything I want I already have. I’m currently filming him for a new YouTube series called Meditate with Chase. He is a total zen master.

*I wouldn’t recommend spending 5 years on one tune, but I’m glad I did. Revelations came about after my first Ayahuasca retreat, where I was able to let go of some heavy emotions that were holding me back. The lesson was forgiveness, and that definitely helped me grow as a person and as an artist.
